Week 3, 19th September
At the beginning of this week, we presented our ideas to our teachers, telling them about the concept we had come up with for the song and the locations we has decided to shoot in. This went really well. We got a good amount of feedback from them and we decided to change our narrative slightly. This was because from previous experience they found that the main idea of our narrative had been done before so changing it would make ours slightly unique. They also told us to change our band ID as it didn’t really suit our style we had created for the band. So the name Falling Sound was out. We began to think of other names and after settling on The Sound, we later found out that this was already a professional band meaning that we couldn’t use this name. In the latter part of this week we began drawing up our storyboards and creating our animatic. This gave us a great visual idea to see how our narrative and concept would play out when we actually filmed it. The animatic showed us were holes were in the song, were we could possibly add more shots.
