Our day at the Nitelites Warehouse

Setting up. The three truss uprights that we used are clearly visible. One is stage left, one is centre and the last is stage right. The hazers were placed at the bottom of the stage left and right truss uprights. The intelligent lights were placed: two flown on the stage left and right uprights, two on the drum riser and 2 in the downstage corners.

This is truss with a bar of six Par 64's attached to it. Effective lighting for the band performance. The Par cans were left open white to make a bold statement.
Jordan setting up the mics and keyboard ready for filming.
The Lighting, one of the three truss uprights that held the bar of six's. These were later focused in a arc formation taking into account the positions of the band members. We used three of the bars of Par Cans meaning there was 18 64 Par Cans.
The flight case's containing of all our cable, that was used on the performance. These cables included: 16amp TRS, DMX, Socapex 5-way truss multi and 125amp 3-phase powerloc cable.
The lighting desk that was used. This is an Avolites Pearl Expert. It was used along side a Avolites Art2000t 48-way dimmer rack with a hard power module to power the intelligent lights and the two Look Unique hazers.
This is a High End Studio Spot 250..  It is an intelligent moving lighting which is relatively new technology to the industry and is progressing all the time eg. LED moving lights. They are widely used in live concerts.
Alot of equipment about, all to be used!
Jordan getting ready to film his guitar close up.
Last take in filming.. Everyone was getting into the roles with in the band. The haze is evident in this shot where you can clearly see the beams of light within the haze.
The bold lights made the performace look more professional. The haze is evident in this shot. This makes the lighting beams more visible. Note the use of back light which gives the impression of a halo around the subject creating more sculpture, this coupled with floor cans, coloured in a pink diffusion, gives a more natural feel to the band members complexion whilst still retaining the punch from the open white bar of six's on the truss uprights.
Here you can see how effective the lighting was for the band perfomance. The central truss upright was focused in the direction on the guitarist to create back lighting.
