Vicki- In the lesson I finished off what I had started on the blog and made sure everything we needed was there. In the evening we performed our final cut performance at the Priory Theatre. We tried to get our lights equal to that of our rough cut performace.
Catherine- The filming of the performance was done today, this time we had both cameras, with full battery, so we were able to get enough footage. I made sure to bring a long the red envelopes that were to be thrown from above the stage. I think the lights weren't as professional as Nitelites but the space that we had has was a lot better.
Euan- I helped Jordan edited the footage from the weekend as well as going to help set up for our final performance cut tonight.
Jordan- We are in our final week now and I started editing all of the footage we got over the weekend from Durham and the Tynebridge. This has really helped our video move along.
15th November
Vicki- Today me and Catherine worked on finalising the outtakes video. We have done this to show off our editing skills.
Catherine- Vicki and I gathered more footage from previous filming sessions to add to our video. Later on I made sure to upload the final part of our audience research, I had to redo the results due to technical difficulties
Jordan-There was a problem with the file format of the video, so most of the lesson time for me was spent with the technician, exporting and solving the issue. Once this was sorted, me and Euan started editing the performance footage. I got some done in the lesson, Euan edited over lunchtime and I then continued editing in my free lesson after lunch.
To get the editing done, we discussed as a group when our free lessons are so everyone could get a turn of editing. This also means we will definitely be finished for deadline day.
16th November
Vicki- I worked on getting our blog finished all together today. I re ordered all of our posts making sure it was in a logical order in time with when we filmed. I also edited the video with catherine as well as finishing the outtakes video.
Catherine- Today I added more writing to blog entries and added another new post about our blog layout. Vicki and I also continued to work with our video.
Euan- While Jordan was editing I added more to the blog including our narrative theory research.
Jordan- We are in the last 24 hours and our video is still being edited. It is almost finished and should be done in time for our deadline tomorrow.
17th November
Vicki- Today is deadline day and we all pitched together to get the final stages of our video done in time for 4.30pm. Everything came together really smoothly in the end and we ended up finishing in time.
Catherine- Today we finished our video and continued to edit the blog. I added our Top 10 music videos which we made at the beginning of the project, showing what videos we found could be useful if we needed inspiration.
Euan- Our group pulled together today to get our video finally done and edited. Everyone was alittle on edge as today was our deadline but as a group we pilled together and got it done with time to spare. I really enjoyed doing this project and I like how our video has turned out.
Jordan- Everything from the past few months came down to today. We got our video edited and I am really happy with how everything came about.
